The Art of Research welcomes contributions in four different formats: full papers, explorative papers, exhibition, and institution presentation. Through this, we expect to reshape the ways artistic research is published in academic settings while ensuring research rigour and quality.
All submissions are subject to a solid review process carried out by the conference chairs and submission category chairs to ensure quality.
Full and explorative papers, and exhibition proposals will be subject to blind peer-review by a anonymous reviewers part of the academic community. Each contribution is reviewed by a minimum two anonymous reviewers. The papers will go through two sets of full reviews, where authors are guided towards final digital publication. All abstracts will be published in both print and digital format.
The Art of Research series is published under ISSN 2984-0716 (print) and ISSN 2984-0724 (digital).
The Template for all submission types is provided in the Art of Research 2026 website.
